Objective: Describe the treatment of patient with atherogenic dyslipidaemia (AD) in routine Primary Care clinical practice. Methodology: Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study based on a structured questionnaire. The content questionnaire was review literature and validated by 3 AD experts. It included 23 questions addressed to primary care physicians. This sub will analyze related AD. Results: A total 1,029 physicians (67.06% men) participated study. Most work urban areas (55.9%) attended mean 79.9 (SD: 89.85) patients per month. (95.63%) considered that first step is lifestyle modification. For approach associated obesity prevention, 74% participants advised modifications turn evaluated need for pharmacological treatment. In moderate elevations LDL-C DA treated statins, 90% doctors fibrates. these patients, 93% agreed or fully fenofibrate most appropriate fibrate their combination statins. 19% consider genfibrocil association. secondary prevention AD, statins therapeutic objectives, majority (94.46%) added 70% combined fibrates from start Conclusions: Although level inculcation knowledge about management highly acceptable some cases, there are parts be modified, especially poor association genfibrocil.
